Dear Eduardo Gabrieloff,
We are sending you our report, The Homeless for a Night Charity Event at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, which you commissioned us to prepare. The report contains our findings and recommendations about relieving the number of homeless individuals within the community.
The purpose of our report is to evaluate the feasibility, potential benefits and drawbacks of supporting local homeless and transitional shelters at the University of Illinois. As part of our report, we analyzed the many different facets that must be taken into account when considering adding value to local homeless shelters by hosting a charity event, including cost, location, environmental factors, student attendance and security.
We conclude that it is possible to add value to these local institutions at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. However, supporting an organization that already has many of its costs covered may be more challenging than supporting other institutions that are not as established. We do feel that human individuals without a place to call home are a major concern for the campus, and we recommend that the university conduct more research to find an alternative solution.
We hope that you find this report useful and informative. If you have any questions regarding our findings or research or would like to add any recommendations please call us.
