Well in my believes, I am the same person that I was 10 years ago.Scientificly I am the same.My DNA, my blood, my organs haven't changed. The only thing that has changed is my thoughts across the years. It has changed because human beings are made to evolve physically and mentally. We can take an example from the homo sapiens from 10000 years ago and now.We haven't change physically but our minds have considerably changed since because minds are easier to change or evolve then our physical characteristic. My thoughts are not the same that yesterday but I am still the same person that I am only taller, smarter and more understanding of the world.
We all see time as a countdown of our lives. But do we truly know what is time? In a matter of fact time is non-existent. Time like many other things was invented by humans. We invented time so that we could be organize more efficently. But if we didn't exist would time exist how would it all work.
Time was defined in 1967 that it is a duration of 9,192,631,770 periods of the radiation corresponding to the transition between the two hyperfine levels of the ground state of the caesium 133 atom.So if we grasp how to control this units perhaps we could control the addition and removal of time but we could not as we are not as such advanced in are modern technology.
Time is a psychological thing, you can't determine time by numbers because as you sometimes fell it, time passes by so fast sometimes and for other people slowly at the same time.I believe that time is a conception in our brain. When we have fun time passes fast and when where in class time passes so slowly this could be because time is always moving and when you see what time is it every five minutes, you notice the five minutes. But when you don't look a it, time goes by in a flash.
