Human Trafficking is one of the most well-known, wide-spread occurrences of modern day slavery. Many Countries are not aware of the impact of Human Trafficking in their communities. The U.S. is thought to not be a place of occurring modern-day slavery. The U.S. is one of the main places which women, men and children are trafficked through. Unawareness of Human Trafficking in the U.S. has led to the a significant impact on the country, by educating our country on targets, different cases, crimes, and prevention of this we can bring knowledge to the country.

The crime Human Trafficking begins with obtaining certain targeted individuals. Human trafficking targets are usually women and children but men also sometimes become victims ( Human Trafficking of children 1). Women are chosen for their inability of restraint as are children, who are also chosen for their gullibility. The market also demands for young females. Educattion of targets begins awareness of this crime.

Many victims are trafficked to the U.S. from foreign nations. Often people ignore the issue because they compare the issue to current cases of prostitution (Sexual Prostitution 1). The U.S. needs to help people understand that Human trafficking is a crime that impairs our country as a whole.
